How to protect your wealth from loss and unfortunate incidents
A life story about Lisa - a wealthy business woman, whose finance was almost wiped out by illness. But she was insured. Are you insured?
Greetings!
How to protect your wealth from loss and unfortunate incidents.
We are in the 'ember' months and gradually winding down the year - 2022, which started just like yesterday.
It would be easy to ask if you're hitting your goals. But, all successes are nothing if just one incident can wipe them out.
Here's a short story about Lisa:
Lisa was the kind of person that looked ready and able to take on any challenge at any time. She was always working out and eating healthy, a self-made millionaire from her investments in the stock market, and she always had a way of making people feel like they were being heard by her.
But when she least expected it, there was something that could not be ignored: Lisa was getting sick. It started with little things—she began having trouble sleeping, then feeling tired at work, and then finding herself spending more time in the bathroom than usual.
That’s when she knew something wasn’t right—and it was even more apparent when she got her first doctor’s bill. She hadn’t even gotten a diagnosis yet, but the cost of all these tests was adding up fast. That’s when Lisa decided it would be best to get a comprehensive health insurance policy to cover some of these costs and help her understand what was happening with her health.
But it was almost late because most insurance policies require the insured to wait six months before access to certain clinical services - and Lisa's case was among these services.
Even though Lisa had always been healthy, she now wished she'd subscribed to health insurance coverage much earlier. If she had, she wouldn't have paid out of pocket.
Get insurance - health and gadget or device
Out-of-pocket expenses simply refer to costs that you pay out of your own cash reserves.
“You have to make a deposit before we can treat the patient” is what many patients and their relatives are greeted with when they enter health-care facilities in Nigeria."
As a creator, two things are essential for you to continue earning - your physical health and your device which is your work tool. That is why when one or both have issues, you ensure to get them fixed. But, paying out-of-pocket for these essentials is more expensive when it can be paid for by insurance. Why stress the money you worked so hard for?
It is your responsibility to protect your wealth. And one way to do so is to get insured.
